If you are not familiar with the concept of "Chunking", now is a good time to learn.

Chunking

As with any tool or topic that is powerful and complex, it is important to "Chunk" what you take on and what you try to remember, so that the content is broken down in effective "chunks".  This allows there to be more triggers that can assist learning, retaining and recalling more things.  The following are some recommended "Chunks", which we have titled "Simergy in 3s":

2. Create Material Layer by defining depth or thickness
3. Select layers to create a Material Layer Set

Creating an HVAC System

2. Air Loop to condition those groups of zones
3. Water Loop to condition those airloops

1. Loop Parameters

3. Validation

Creating a Schedule

1. Define Profiles
2. Drag and Drop Profiles to Year Workbook
3. Save Schedule

Setting up Output Variables for a Simulation

1. Define Output Requests
