Simergy handles economics in terms of structure and calculations in much the same way that EnergyPlus does.  The objects for Utility Cost and Life Cycle Cost Analysis are found in the Libraries/Location Data/Costs Workspace.  The objects that Simergy utilizes for these two topics include:

Select Type Options Sub Type Property Category

UtilityCost

Utility Cost: Tariff

UtilityCost:Qualify

UtilityCost:ChargeSimple

UtilityCost:ChargeBlock

UtilityCost:CostRatchet

UtilityCost:CostVariable

UtilityCost:Computation

LifeCycleCost

LifeCycleCost:Parameters

LifeCycleCost:ReoccurringCosts

LifeCycleCost:NonReoccuringCosts

LifeCycleCost:UsePriceEscalation

LifeCycleCost:UseAdjustment

Economic results are incorporated into different Reports, which can be found in the Reports Workspace.  Two of the reports that include economics information are the Project Summary Report and the Economics Comparison Report.

Note: Simergy does not incorporate the Construction Cost features.

Conceptual Framework

Utility rate structures can vary significantly in different cities, regions, states and countries, so users need to be able to adapt how the utility rate structures are set up in a BEM effectively.  The intent of the Simergy economics features is to make basic utility rate structures (tariffs) simple to set up and to enable the ability to incorporate complex utility rate structures.
