New

Creates a new Water Loop and a new row in the table.

Delete

The selected row is deleted along with the Water Loop Group and the previous information that had been assigned to it.

Loop ID

A default name composed of the 2-3 letter abbreviation for the water loop type (CW, HW, CHW, MxW) + Loop + a sequential number starting with one (1).

Description

The user can include a description with each Water Loop by typing the desired descriptive text in this field. The description is automatically saved with the Water Loop, a save is not required.

Water Loop Types

After New is selected, the next step for the user is to select a water loop type from the drop down list. The options are Hot Water, Chilled Water, Condenser Water or Mixed Water. Once the user has selected a water type the initial loop is created and a default demand box on the demand side appears in the 2d diagramming view. In addition, the Loop ID is provided with a default name.

Water Loop Templates

The user can select an Water Loop Template from the drop down list to associate with the Water Loop. The selections available depend on what is available in the Source Library. The user can create Water Loop Templates in the Templates Workspace.

By selecting a different water loop type row in the table, the workspace areas update in the following ways:

The water loop selected is displayed in the 2d canvas
The Active Project Model Tree is updated highlighting the water loop selected
The Water Loop Parameters table is updated.
