Example: Creating an Adjacent Site

Workspace:  Site/Site Definition/Create-Edit Site Elements

This example goes through the steps to create an Adjacent Site Object as shown in the image

1. In the Create/Edit Site Elements area select New.

   

2. Select Adjacent Site from the Object Type drop down list (the default setting)

   

3. Change or keep default Name shown

   

4. Select Rectangle shape from the Shape drop down list (the default setting)

   

   

5. Plan Dimensions X1 = 300; Y1 = 120

   

6. Origin Dimensions X = -360; Y = 0  

   

7. Click Save

   

Note: The new adjacent site has been added to the Active Project Model Tree under Adjacent Sites.  When the user selects the adjacent site object (as shown in the image), then they can make changes to the Shape, Plan Dimensions, Origin or other and then select  Save to incorporate them into the model.
