FAQ: How does Simergy work with EnergyPlus?

Simergy is a graphical user interface for EnergyPlus version 7.0 and 7.1 (currently). Simergy maps directly to the EnergyPlus analysis engine using a Simulation Domain Model, or SimModel, which is a new XML-based schema that supports Simergy. The intent of Simergy is to expose the full set of EnergyPlus capabilities to the user, and a gateway for numerous other users to utilize the on-going development efforts of EnergyPlus.
