1. Go to the Buildings (tab) and Building/Floor/Zone Definition (Ribbon) Create/Edit Bldg Stories Workspace
2. In the Create/Edit Building Stories field select "New". This initiates the process...Note that a simple square shape has appeared in both the 3d and 2d views
3. Make the following inputs:
3.1. Shape - L-Shape
3.2. Num of Floors = 4
3.3. Origin X = 20, Y = 20
3.4. X1 = 150 (shape parameters correspond to those shown on the diagram)
3.5. Plenum Configuration = Above Ceiling (Note how diagram shown changes)
3.6. We'll accept the defaults for glazing, floor to floor height, and others.
4. Hit Save. Now the Building is part of the BEM. Note that the since we had the Zone Configuration set to Core and Perimeter we now have 7 spaces on each floor that are shown in the 2d view. Also note that the Create/Edit Building Stories field has gone back to its default setting.
5. Select New again

7. Make the following inputs:
7.1. Base Story = 5 (will be applied by default)
7.2. Shape = Free Form. Now you'll need to go over to the 2d view and draw a building form for the top story
8. Hit Save
9. Save Simergy File, because although the Building Object is part of the Simergy file, the file has yet to be saved.
